Do you have gently used glasses hanging around your home? Well those glasses can help Senior Detroiters with our new initiative SPEC Collection!
We are aiming to collect 1,000 pairs of gently used eyeglass frames and brand new over the counter readers by December 31st 2023 in order to create a repository of eyewear that will be made available to homebound Senior Detroiters free of charge! We are excited to be able to support Eye Care For Detroit with our eyewear collection drive. Through our combined efforts our Community Elders will get these frames and brand new corrective lenses completely free of charge!
So if you have gently used (no broken or damaged frames please) glasses, or some brand new over the counter readers that you would like to donate, please bring them to Spectacle Society by December 31st 2023.
